It does have a history of false negatives.
However, it is what I used and I wasn't 100% convinced so I tried one in just tap water - fortunately that came up negative
and I also took one clear blue easy which was psoitive.
Wait a few days, if you still don't get your period, test again, if it is still negative and you still don't get your period, maybe make an appt with your doctor, just to make sure nothing else is amiss
