I have to go back to work tomorrow
i've
just had 2 weeks off and really don't feel
like it. Maybe I will have to schedule my
matrnity leave to start a little sooner
than I had planned
seems like every time I have time off work
I get sick.
Last year we went away and I spent the
whole week ill with a flu like
condition.
This year, we stayed home, I got flu like
condition now, I went to a+e on weds night
with abdo pains, that they said was a
urine infection - i'm not convinced - no
burning or stinging when peeing, no
bladder pain empty or full - but I did
have major period style pains.
At least 4 times I had to tell them that
no I wasn't bleeding, yes, I was 14 1/2
weeks pregnant.
Then they asked me when my last period was
well 14 1/2 weeks ago.
They suggested ectopic pregnancy - like
i'm 14 1/2 weeks (15 now) and i've had 2
scans, so we know the foetus is in my
uterus and the foetus is like what
5-6inches crown to rump, fallopian tubes
mmmmmmmmm few millimeteres across - I
think we would have known by now don't
you.
Then because I had abdo pains - they
listened to my lungs!!! what
then asked me how bad I was bleeding -
hello - i'm still not, doesn't anyone
listen.
Grrr - rant over.
Himself had to leave the room, when the
doc asked me for the umpteenth time what
kind of pain I had, and I answered
"painful pain"
