We can not tell you how much it is because
it will vary all over the country and from
doctor to doctor. Depends on how long her
tubes have been tied, how the procedure
was done, her general health, many
factors, you must have an individual
consultation with a doctor.
Also 37 is quite old and carries increased
risks of downs syndrome and other neural
tube defects such as spina bifida - work
closely with your doctor on this one.

Some women never have their tubes tied and
sill don't get pregnant, some have their
tubes tied and then still get pregnant
(even when they are not untied).
Sterilisation should be classed as
permanent, if you are successfully
reversed - great but don't count on it.

Are you saying she is already having early
menopause symptoms? If so, it's pretty
unlikely she would be able to get pregnant
even if she had the sterilisation
reversed. But even if she did, and then
had the menopause, she should think about
how it would physically affect her, it can
be very difficult to have to look after a
demanding baby when you are suffering
menopause symptoms. I have a friend this
happened to, she suddenly went into early
menopause about 3 months after her son was
born. It was like major league hot
flushes while having to deal with a baby
that never wanted to sleep.
If she did get pregnant, as someone else
said, there is also a high risk of downs
and other birth defects at that age,so you
need to think about and agree what you
would do in that situation.
But is this her that want to have the baby
or is it just you? Because if she was
sterilised there must have been a good
reason for her to do that.

Ok this sounds a little crazy but have you
looked into other options. Such as a
fertility specialist. There are a lot of
options where they can take your sperm and
her egg and maybe have another person
carry the baby for you both to term.
There are many options to choose from.
The costs of procedures are also going to
depend on insurance and the doctor you go
to , just make sure you dont go with a
doctor just because he is cheap. Good
luck.
