The first time I was pregnant, when I went
for my first exam at 9 weeks the baby did
not have a heartbeat, I ended up having a
d&c instead of waiting for it to
happen naturally. I do have one child, he
is three years old and I remember being
sicker when I was pregnant with him. I am
only about 4 weeks along I think and my
appointment isnt until the 23rd but I dont
feel nauseated anymore and my
breasts/nipples do not feel tender
anymore. I am scared to death I have lost
this pregnancy already, what should I do?
Im afraid of sounding like a hypocondriac
if I call the doctor and making them upset
because it could be nothing. Thanks for
any help.

Dear kyler,
you didn't mention whether you have
been spotting or bleeding with this
pregnancy, if you haven't been, don't
panic, everything is most probably fine.
Some women who end up miscarrying do not
experience any morning sickness because
the placenta is not developing properly,
but you must also keep in mind that some
women who have completely normal
pregnancies do not experience morning
sickness either. Every pregnancy you have
will be different. I know how hard it is
to stay positive about your pegnancy after
a miscarriage. I had a miscarriage myself
3 months ago. I am now 9 weeks pregnant
again and a little worried, but trying to
stay positive. As long as you are doing
all the right things and not smoking,
drinking and doing anything to labour
intensive, your pregnancy should be fine
this time around. Keep regular
appointments with your doctor and most of
all, take care of yourself.
Good luck,
.::suzy::.

I have not been spotting or bleeding, but
I did not spot or bleed when I lost my
first pregnancy. The only real reason I
am concerned is because for the last two
weeks, every morning when I wake up I feel
really sick and my breasts were starting
to swell and become tender, but now I do
not feel sick and my breasts dont hurt
anymore though they have not gotten nearly
as big as they did with my son. I have
been trying to stay positive and believe
everything is alright, but it is hard
considering when I lost the first one I
had no clue until the doctor told me and
still, a week later when I had the surgery
I still had not bled or had any cramping
or anything. I'll think on it a bit more
and I welcome any more thoughts or
suggestions.

It's natural to feel this scared. I used
to do the same thing when I was pregnant.
I would cry and say, my boobs are sore,
etc... If you're that worried, go to the
Dr. I promise, they don't care. I
visited mine a lot
