I thin under 15 they can force you to have
an abortion I dont know about adoption and
like under 18 they can take legal custody
and do what they wish if they get enough
lawyers involved

She cant do anything or make youre dr do
anything. Its your choice, no matter your
age. But that doesnt mean you shouldnt
take her opinion into consideration

The best thing for you to do is contact
your local child and family services
department and ask them. Unfortunately,
being that young, you are still in the
custody of your parents and some states
have statutes that govern their rights vs
your own. They can also let you know
what rights you have and things you can do
in order to protect them.

Im sorry to say this but you are 14 what
kind of life can you give your baby. You
arent old enough to get a job, you are
about 6 years away from graduating, who do
you think is going to give you money and
free childcare?? Your mom wont if she
already thinks this is whats best..
Please do whats right for your child give
it up for adoption and give him/her a life
it deserves.

I can not believe what most people are
saying on this thing, I live in canada and
here your parents have no control over
your baby no matter what age. People are
telling you to give it up for adoption
because they dont have faith that you can
raise a child on your own. Honey listen
to me, my sister had my neice when she was
15, our family wasnt rich and my parents
were divorced with my mother on welfare
and my sister left home after having the
baby moved out on here own, finished her
highschool got here license and then went
on to further her education. My sister by
the time she was 19 owned her own home,
own brand new car and about 20 thousand
dollars worth of furniture because she
didnt let having a baby at age 15 and
having people like those ones on here run
her down. My sister makes 65 thousand a
year and has worked in the same company
since she was 18. She is now 28 and is
still working there. Life is how you make
it, you want to give your baby up and have
the heart ache for the rest of your life
and feel that guilt, or do you have faith
in your self. Follow your heart. And
believe me what ever your decision is your
mother will be by your side no matter
what? I had a baby at 17 and now I am 6
months away from becoming a police
officer, I had to finish my highschool
first which was held off for a bit but I
did while working going to school and
raising a child. I have faith in you and
trust that you will make the right
decision. E-mail back if you would like
to know more

So, what happened? Did you find anuthing
out? I think it should all be up to you!
If you feel you can raise your child do
it! As for abortion I am against it but
this is not my choice. Adoption is always
a choice but do what you think is best for
you and ur baby!

hun, I think she knows that. She was just
showing that not everyone's life who has a
baby young, is going to end up as a
failure, because as it seems most people
already think so.
Age is not really the factor, the factor
is your enivironment, because other than
america, it is alot different.

My boyfriend was talking about me getting
an abortion. But then he told me that he
would support whatever decision I would
make. But just like the boys can't
control your decision. I think that you
should do what you feel is right so that
you won't regret it later on in your life.

no your mom cannot do that you are that
babies mom and you make the decision to
give that baby up so if thats not what you
want do not let her do that to you or tell
you any diffrent babies are precious be a
good mother just because your 14 dont mean
anything if you care then youll do whats
right okay
good luck and best
wishes

i had my daughter right after my 16th
birthday and I have raised her myself and
she has a great life. We have our own
apartment and im in a private college on a
full scholarship to get my bsn in nursing.
I worked my ass off the get where I am
and my daughter and myself are bennifiting
from it. I know ladies who are 30 years
old on welfare having children which are
abused and neglected. Its not about age,
its about who is having the children.
