I
was suppose to start me period 11 days ago
and still nothing.
I have taken two tests and the both say
they are negative. Now, last month I had
a "leep" done and I was wondering if that
could have thrown my period off, or is it
possible for me to still be pregnant?
Could somebody please help me?

What is a "leep"? Do you mean like you
skipped a period? Maybe you should just
get a blood test.

a
leep is where they cut out part of my
cervix because they found cancer cells or
the beginning stages of cancer cells.

Ok when I found out I was pregnant a
couple of months ago, I went through like
8 pt tests and the first 2 or 3 were
negative and the farther along I got that
line started to show. I would think the
best option for you would to just go get a
test done at the doctor that way you don't
have to worry yourself so much!

It could be from the "leep", it could also
be from stress! You should definitely
let your Dr. Know!
Sincerely,

I agree with the part of letting your
doctor know as soon as possible!

Is It Just Wishful Thinking??

Okay, I still haven't started, but I have
been reading about signs and symtoms of
pregnancy, and even though both test have
come out negative, I have some of the
symptoms. My husband and I have been
trying for 6 years and I have a child
(12yrs) and this would be his first, so I
haven't told him any of this because he
wants one so bad and I don't want him to
get his hopes up until I know for
sure....To late for mine. I have always
been regular regardless of the stress..But
the tests say one thing and my body is
saying another...Is it just wishful
thinking?

I think my advice to you would be for you
to take another test in a couple days/week
and then if it isn't positive and you
still think you are pregnant go get
yourself tested at your doctor.

I worked in ob/gyn for 4 years as a
physicians aid we performed many leaps or
loops. It is possible for you to be
pregnant, stress can cause ammenhoria
(absence of menses), and more often than
not after the procedure that you had your
body may take time to adjust. The one
important thing that I want to stress to
you is that if you are pregnant or believe
that there is a strong possibility contact
your physician. Sometimes after the leap
your cervix can become incompetent which
simply means not strong enough to hold a
pregnancy. This is an easy fix with
something called a cerclage. This may be
all a bunch of crazy jargon, but I
strongly reccommend you contact your
ob/gyn. We recommended at our office that
no one try for conception for 3 months
after these procedures. Good luck!!! :d

:d I really appreciate your advice...I
really do not have anyone else to talk
to...And my husbands insurance does not
kick in for another month or so, so I do
not have a doctor I can really talk
too....And the office that did my "leap"
have not been any help... I do however
have another question if no one minds...
I was wanting to know if cramping is
normal, because for the past two weeks I
have been having very mild cramping like I
am going to start my period, and sharp
pains that go from my
rectum to my lower stomach, this just
started yestarday.
sorry for being so parranoid, the advice
given to me, mean so much.....Thank u,
thank u, thank u....

Do you have a planned parenthood clinic
that you could go to? They could help you
out, do a test, talk with you. It would
be worth a shot!
