Waiting Game Posted: 10-11-04 13:31pm
I'm not late yet, just having a few
symptoms. I'm constantly exhausted, have
gotten really dizzy a couple of times,
can't control my hunger & cravings no
matter what I try. Also i've been
sneezing a lot, which I did with my last
baby. Aside from those things, my real
indication that I might be pg is that
usually from the time I start to ovulate
until my period ends, I have a lot of
pain. (they think I have endometriosis
but I havent gone for a laparoscopy yet).
Well this month I felt myself ovulating,
and after having sex the pain stopped and
I haven't had any pms symptoms since.
Just a little tiny bit of cramping but
hardly enough to even notice. I'm still
a week away from when I should be
starting, but I want to take a hpt so bad!
I don't know if i'm reading too much into
the symptoms that I do have or if i'm
making more out of it because I want to
be! Are there any tests that you can take
even before you miss your period or do I
absolutely have to wait? I hate playing
the waiting game!

Hey,
you can take ept (early pregnancy test)
i'm pretty sure its good up to 4 days
before your period is due. I would
however recommend you buy a box with two
tests in it just incase the first one
comes out negative because you test too
early and when your period date passes you
could always take the other one.
Good luck

Hi!
Yeah, they think I have
endometriosis too, and I go in for my
laparoscopy on december 3rd. I am very
afraid, bc they say endo. Can lead to
being sterile, and I don't want that. I
want children very much. Good luck with
everything!

Well I know they say endo leads to
infirtility, which is common, but I know
someone who had it pretty bad but still
had 2 kids, and I have one child and
pretty sure this is number 2. Gonna take
a test in the morning. Good luck with the
laparoscpy - i'm putting mine off until
the beginning of next year, I just want to
get through the holidays and we're almost
done with our house remodel. I guess I
will be putting it off even more if im
pregnant!

also, if you are pregnant, it will help
your endo. It clears it up in the
majority of the cases. I am trying to
talk my man into trying for a child
soon....I don't think it'll work though.
I'm ready, he's not.

Oh, guys are never ready like we are.
Well I did find out that I am pregnant,
haven't told him yet, and I was really
excited about it earlier today but now i'm
getting nervous! He just called to tell
me that he wants to quit his job and work
for his dad, but I know that he won't want
to do that if we're expecting...But I
don't want him stuck in a job he hates
either! I guess I will sleep on it and
figure out how to tell him. I know he'll
be excited, but money will be tight, cuz
i'm not going to work after baby's born
(we already talked about that part).
