The pill definitely increases your risks of blood clots. You have the classic symptoms (though it could be something else).

They can be very serious, a clot in your leg can dislodge and go to your heart or lungs.

Please call a doctor or visit a clinic (like planned parenthood). I know it's $72, but a heart attack and lasting damage to your body isn't worth it. A phone consult with your doctor shouldn't cost anything at all (with the doctor who's prescribed the pill) and can put your mind at ease.

Please let us know how it turns out.

Take care.

You really need to see the doctor that prescibed these for you. Blod clots can be life threatening. I had a stroke from being on the pill only a few months.

Even if you can't afford to go to the doctor at the moment, please call the doctor that prescribed the bcp - they need to know of your complications. Ask them if you should stop taking the pills.

Please don't wait.

Take care.

Well I called the clinic were I got the ones I am now and the doc has left the practice so I called my reg doc who wasn't in b/c of the holiday. I will try him agine tommorow. He is the one that said I might want to get on the lo dose. And I am going to fill that one soon. The nurse that I talked to said to just stay on it for now and then go to the lo when I finish this pack and to take some asprine in the mean time till I can get in to see the doc.

Wow...I have the same symptoms at time. I always thought its because I have relatively low body fat and a thyroid disease. But since starting the pill in august, my finger tips and toes will go so numb that I can't warm them up. I live in ca and it isn't that cold. I am going to ask my md about that as a side effect. Thanks for sharing your expereince.
