How Hard?
Posted: 10-12-04 08:37am

How hard do u ladies with babies find it to care for ur baby? Lol I know it sounds weird and I already knew what to expect when I was pregnant but I think my stress level is in overload. I feel like I go from one job to the next and it never ends but I dont regret anything either, I go from work to home then have to make dinner and whenever I need to do something dom is cryin I never sleep past 7 am and im up in the middle of night. Lol hes cryin right now so imma end it here. Just share ur story of what a typical day is like so here is mine. About 830 am doms is up for the day .. I clean up any mess from the night, botttles diapers ect... I make sure hes fed changed, I make any needed phone calls n get ready for work. Even on my days off it seems like the is always a list of things to do which ususally takes up most of my day. After work I come home get the mail make dinner do the dishes bathe dom yadda yadda lol it never ever ends! Im not complaining just wanna know how it is for others. Dom is a very needy baby but which one isnt lol if u aint holdin him he aint happy lol sometimes I have to hold him and do the dishes. I gotta give it up to all u single moms out there. Eric helpsss out allllot and I still find it very hard. Ur all very strong women. ~ erica.

How do you hold him and do the dishes at the same time? Lol that takes 2 hands. Yea, same here, its 8:30 am, and brooklyn is up for the majority of the day. She always needs to be held too. But I dont go to work, I just have to juggle a baby and house work, whhich is hard enough as ut is. I cant imagine also having to go to work. Eric doesnt work, does he?

Lol I use one hand it takes an eternity but it works. Yeah eric does work but only 3 days a week under the table doing construction he works 8 hours a day 3 days a week @ 12 an hour and I work the rest. Plus he gets 600 a month from ssi for his severe panic attacks. I know I know I dont know how he got it but they dont just give that to anyone. Hows ur lil one. She is beautiful btw I cant wait till I have a lil girl of my own lol I need another female around. ~ erica.

Brooklyn is doing great. Shes starting to sleep better at night, she used to want to be held all night long, she would sleep in your arms, but the second you would lay her back down, she would be wide awake, fussing cuz she wanted to be held. I dont think ive ever seen a pic of dom until just now, he is sooo cute!! How old is he now?

Ya know my aunt told me that if you wear a snugli that you can pretty much do anything. Maybe that would help you guys.

Wow u guys have it busy! Im gonna be off work for almost 3 months to be with belle and I hope I wont be too stressed. My plan is jose will hold her im the morning while I get his breakfast ready and then I will get her while he gets ready for work, he will take my car to work and I will stay home. I will have that slingy thing or some sort of holder for her as I do light cleaning. Then I will either put her in the bouncer or swing as I do dishes. Once or twice a week, we will have my mom take us to the laundry mat for laundry and I will leave it in the car for jose to carry everything up. Then either my mom will be there to watch her as I cook or jose will. I know plans dont usually work but ours is to either take turns in the night or whoever is more tired will sleep while the other gets the baby.
