Knee Replacement At Age of 37
Posted: 10-12-04 13:39pm

My daughter is suppose to have a knee repalcement soon. The cause was steroids used with chemotherpathy. She was told that the replacements last only 7 or 8 years. Can they do a second knee replacement or will they have to amputate after that? Thanks cf

I'm 42 yrs old and had total knee they told they will have to replace 1 or 2 times more yes they can redo it, i'ts the spacer that goes bad, I can only walk no more than 2 miles pre-day lift no more than 15 pounds and no kneeling or climbing stairs to make sure knee last long time. They told me if I do this it should last 10 yrs.
