Well, what do you do when people at work
make fun of you for losing weight so fast,
your supervisor asks if you are going to
be on disability but u can't b/c u can't
drive to the treatment center an hour away
b/c you're too sick & dizzy to drive
and u're afraid to tell her that, and your
shrink just tells you to keep coming back
and does nothing to help you?? And you
don't want to be helped anyway b/c you
have more weight to lose??
I won't agree to being an inpatient and I
can't be forced b/c i'm not underweight,
so that's not an option, either. The only
thing I can see to do is just drop the
useless shrink b/c he frustrates me more
(although I don't know what I want him to
do exactly) and keep working and hope that
everybody just shuts up eventually. I
know I look kind-of bad, though (pale,
dark circles, a bit too small for my
frame), and I overslept for work a couple
of times (but haven't since).
Any ideas??

Oh honey. u
need to accept the help thats being
offered to u and I think deep down u know
this. Maybe ur looking for a confirmation
or something I dunno I wish they did force
u cos it seems like thats the only way to
get u better.
Dont u want to be healthy? Dont u want to
look & feel good? Dont u think its
finally time to let go of everything thats
pulling u back? I no I sound like a
preacher out to convince u of seeing the
light or watever but u know wat ur doing
and I think u secretly want help but u
just dont know how to ask for it

Hey, i've read your your last post aswell.
This is what I think, that if possible
maybe you can take public transit to the
treatment center such as a train or bus,
this way you don't have to drive and worry
at the same time. If you do that you can
relax your mind while going there. Next,
I definitley think you should accept your
therapists help and at least try out this
outpatient or inpatient program, give it a
shot what have you got to lose. I think
that if you don't you can only get worse
and will eventually have to go there or
somewhere else anyway. If your therapist
sucks find one that you can relate and
open up too. It might take time but
there's one out there for everyone.
He/she is not forcing you to get help
because ultimatley it is your desicion and
even though he really wants you too, it is
not his place but guaranteed he cares.
Thats why he's in that field. Y
