Mannatech - Your Thoughts ...

Hi. I'm doing some research (informal) on mannatech and its products. I'm intersested to find out the effects of thier glyconutritional products and the benefits of improving cell-to-cell communication. I've heard it can help with problems ranging from the common cold, through to chronic fatigue, haeart disease and menopause.
If you've had any experience with mannatech or any of its products, or if you know someone that has, please let me know how it went - the good, the bad and the ugly.
I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

Yes, I have experience with gns. I have been using gns and other products from mannatech for about 2 years and have done quite a bit of of research into the available information. I am absolutely convinced that they are vital to health because they enable the body's cells to communicate. Apart from one cold I contracted after travelling home for 27 hours in an intercontinental plane (i had failed to take all my nutrients with me) I have had no coughs or colds for over 2 years.
However, I still have the intractable leg problem which caused me to try the products in the first place. I have been found to be deficient in 3 important minerals not supplied by the mannatech vit/min product and a nutritionist is helping me to sort that out.
Some of the mannatech people tend to offer the products as the answer to almost any medical condition - and I believe they can be. But it is not just a case of throwing more glyconutrients at the problem - i've tried it and it didn't work, although it does work for some. I believe you also have to get the diet right. Try visiting www.Internationalwellness. Org to see 'warts and all' testimonials and to take part in their forum. An excellent site is www.Mannabody.Com and if you are in the usa, there is an excellent science site that we, in the uk, are not allowed to visit!
The exciting thing about gn's is that they are said to cause a proliferation of stem cells which can migrate to any part of the body thereby resulting in remarkable health improvements.

My Hubby & I Have Used Mannatech Glyconutrients For Almost 4

We decided to give the products 6 months evaluation. Within weeks I noticed several positive changes happening. I fully believe if you give the body the proper nutrients it will be able to repair itself as it was designed to do.
All our regular health testing, blood work, and overall health is very good for our age. My husband's cardiologist told him "What ever you are doing - keep it up!" He said all that he had read about glyconutrients was very good and could not believe how healthy my husband's heart and arteries were after a life-threatening heart attack requiring an emergency angioplasty- when he was 44, over 10 yrs ago! A recent catheter showed "not one speck of arterial plaque!"
We are very pleased. We threw away all other supplements (B's, C's, E's, etc.) when we started and have no need to use anything else. We know we are getting a complete balance of all necessary nutrition. We have been able to reduce our dependence on Rx's due to several symptoms not being present any longer. This means less $ for Rx's, less side effects from Rx's, improved health!
Thanks for this forum...this is the first time I have 'blogged' our experiences.
