Ok I am going to sign up at a church today
to get dom baptised. Erics brother aaron
is going to be the godfather but I have 2
sisters and cant decide who to make the
godmother. No matter who I choose the
other will be pi$$ed I know it. They both
love dom and both do what they can to help
me all the time. Should I throw it at
them and let them decide or what, im so
frustrated ~ erica

Maybe pick somebody else. Or nobody ever
said they couldn't both be the godmother!

Hmmm well do u plan on having another
child in the duture? Cuz talk to them
about it and say u'll make one godmother
of dom and the other can be godmother for
ur next baby. Or u can choose someone
else, such as a best friend or something.
I hope it works out well for ya!

best friend and my sister are both going
to be his godmothers. I havent picked

I think thats a good idea to either have
them both be the godmothers...Or else pick
one for this child and then your next
child the other one can be the godmother.
I dont think you should choose someone
else. No matter what they both will
always be your sisters.

I understand where you are coming from.
A long time ago I opepend my big fat mouth
and told her that if we had kids it would
be cool to make her the god parent.
Well, now a year later we barely talk to
eachother because she's always pissed at
us for stupid reasons. We've decided
that even though we said that to her we
don't want her to be the god parent.
Just because if she's not able to forgive
people than why would she be a good
candidate for a god parent. We will
probable have our friends be it instead.
In your situation though you have a good
relationship with both so I guess maybe
tell them you want them both to be it and
if that's not possible then tell them one
will be it for this child and one for the
next child. I would say let them figure
it out between the two of them. That way
you don't look like the bad person and
they will understand why.

I thought you could have as many
godparents as u wanted, or well not "as
many" but you know what I mean :d
oh btw, if you pick one sister, just tell
the other sister she can be the godmother
for your next child! Seeeeee, everything
resolved, lol.

there is
no rule to how many godparents ur child
can have. When I used to go to a catholic
church on the days of baptism to see the
babies or if it was someone I knew.
Usually the child would have 2 or more
god-parents.

you know
what their already aunty so let them be
aunty, give someone the privelage of being
godmother to someone else such as a close
family friend. If u still can't decide
there is nothing wrong with having more
than one god-parent but if u choose to let
either sister become god-parent understand
that choosing one no matter what, the
other one will not be satisfied even if
they tell u they are.
