Sounds like you got the snot beat out of you!I would advise you to see a doc soon! There could be some damage done and you need to get it checked out.It does take time for bruising and swelling to go down and that could be the reason that your eye is shut.To be certain that your optic nerve is not damaged and that is the reason your eye is shut,go see a doctor-preferably an opthamalogist.Good luck and stay out of the mosh pit for a few weeks!Patty

Thanx patty, I think that's what i'm gonna do. Unbelieveably I was "punk'd on the 8th of october(like 2 fridays ago)! My right eye at this moment is still pitch black & swollen tight shut. My left eye is also pitch black and pretty much three-quarters closed. It's been pretty much a bummer tryin to get time off to see a doctor but don't really have a choice any longer. It's been kinda cool wearin an eye patch to work but i'm really an absolute mess at this point. I'm also afraid my nose is broken since it has continued to bleed since the beating. Anyway, I will definetely "try" to avoid the pit for awhile & make the appy for the opthamologist-take care and rock on!
