How unsafe is a tanning bed when you are pregnant? I have heard that these are dangerous and I am just curious, because I work next to this tanning place and they would give me free tanning but I think its unsafe and would have to wait till the baby is born

Re: Tanning
Hi my name is jenifer and I just wanted to throw out a suggestion to you. I'm not sure if tanning is bad for the baby but you might want to think about your tan and as your belly gets larger the lighter skin under your tan will start to look like streach marks when your skin streaches.

I wasnt really planning on tanning but just curious because I know that the uva rays are bad for me and the baby. I'm probably going to wait till next summer till I worry about a tan, hopefully by june i'll be back in shape and back to my normal size.
