Difficult Doctor

I went to see a physician who specializes in internal medicine because for over 10 years, I had been attempting to learn why I was always so lethargic, depressed, cold, etc. My chief complaint is what I blamed it on, and could never find anyone to help as it was hard enough to admit you can't go to the bathroom let alone describe the symptoms. Anyway, turns out I have hypothyroidism after I was finally ordered a lab test. I was started on 100mmg of levothroid which worked wonders almost immediately. I described it to friends what it was like moments after taking it - like someone opened the curtains in a room on a sunny day. Instantly, I had energy and a positive attitude. My voice didn't even crack as much. It was like a miracle pill. Best of all, it alleviated my biggest problem and I was comfortable. But then after about a month, the symptoms started to return and got worse so I told the doctor and she blew me off. I decided to fiddle with the dosage and found 200mmg made me feel jittery but 150mmg made me feel better than I had in a decade. Unfortunately, I ran out of pills and the doctor wouldn't prescribe me more, and accused me of taking them to lose weight. I explained my results and told her the only weight I lost was the stuff I used to only get rid of once a week if I was lucky, if you know what I mean. Still, she ordered me back to 100mmg based on another blood test that showed my t4 level a bit higher than normal. Now I am back to where I was before; once every 8 days without "help", I feel sluggish, forgetful, depressed and always cold, and other things too many to list. I want to just get off the hormone all together. I don't feel it does anything anymore and I am just p'd off that my doctor doesn't understand. I don't know what to do. My insurance doesn't allow me to find other doctors and some days I get so depressed I cry and it's all because I can't go to the bathroom. Has anyone else had a similar experience and found help? Sad

I got to the point where my bowels would only work once a week, and then I found millers bran, do a google on it, I got some at the local health store, and it works like a charm, just put a spoon full on everything I eat
