How old do you have to be to take the
course and what type of work do cna's do?
I am turning 18 in less than a month and
I was wondering if I could possibly train
to be a cna or do I have to wait until i'm
older?

Thats right, when I graduated high school
I was 17, and I was going to go tothe tech
to be that but decided that it didn't pay
enough in this area and I wouldn't enjoy
that field of work.

Basicallu cnas do the "dirty work" that
nurses dont like to do. Change beds,
diapers, bathe, feed, clean. It really
depends on where you work though. There
are lots of cna jobs in nursing homes and
assisted living. You have to be able to
deal with people and have lots of
patience. Its hard work, but pretty good
pay.
