Generally, it's the first day after a
missed period.
You can take them earlier but, even with
the ones designed for early testing, they
are most accurate the first day after a
missed period.

When taking a home pregnancy test,
remember to read the directions carefully,
and use first morning pee, as it has the
highest concentration of hormones.
