a Really Scary Experience Posted: 10-22-04 10:59am
It was in the early morning I couldnt
really sleep, my head started getting kind
of a numb tingely feeling and then 10
seconds later it came full force of
numbness in my head then my whole body got
numb too with a tingely feeling, I was
paralyzed I couldnt move at all or say
anything my body went from numb to like
this strong pulling force on my whole
body, I know I wanted to wake up my
husband desperately and he was right next
to me but I just couldnt speak or move
then after like 30 seconds it stopped. Im
so scared about it I dont know if it could
be some type of seizure. If anyone had
this experience before or know what it is
please reply.

This does sound so scary!! I think you
should call the doctor and get it checked
out! There are seizures like that but
there is also other conditions including
some sleep disorders that can cause
this!
I hope you figure it out. It must have
been so scary! How did you feel after?
Seizures often cause you to feel bad
after...

check where kind of numb and tingely for
like several seconds. I also forgot to
put that I did have this before but in
dreams and I would wake up afterwards but
this one was so intence and I was awake in
bed when it happend.

Have you talked to a doctor yet? In
either case there are tests that can show
what is going on, maybe! Sleep paralysis
does sound like what you describe.
