Advice?

I posted this on the other one, but I think more ppl are here.........

Ok, after typing this and having it deleted....I'll do it again. Ok, I am so worried that I decided to track down a computer on my mini vacation so I can ask ya'll what you think...........One, can you take the flu shot while you are pregnant??????????? Bc my boyfriends mom brought one home to give me today...(she is a nurse) I am asking bc I think there may be possibly a very very very very slim like 1/100 chance that I am pregnant...But then again I don't........Bc I just had my period two weeks ago......And these symptoms that i'm having are too soon, right? I'm peeing like crazy, but I don't have a uti......I have massive headaches, I sleep sooooooooo much, I have no control over my body........I've been sick once but keep a feeling that I will be sick.......I am so weak, and I get dizzy so much.......But these symptoms should not show up so early in a pregnancy!!!!!!!! I don't know what to think, but I don't have a good reason to tell my mum-in-law that I can't take the shot she has ordered me to take????????? Any advice or any knowledge that will shoot down my scared and paranoid thoughts????????

Love ya and thanks soooooooooo much!

1- yes you can and definitely should when you're pregnant! Pregnant women are in the high risk and the cdc is recommending that all pregnant women get the flu shot.

2- when did you have sex? When was your last period? How far along should you be? You can't ever tell by symptoms. The only way to tell is to take a test. Pregnancy symptoms like the ones you described can also be caused by natural horomonal changes in the body, switching, starting, or stopping birth control, thinking your pregnant, or wanting to be pregnant! Take a test, if you have missed a period.

-i would get the flu shot, if you have it available to you. Like erin said, you should definitly get the shot if you are pregnant.

-no one can tell you if you are pregnant or not. The only thing you can do is wait for your period not to show, then go to walmart, buy a test..Then take it with your first morning urine.

Good luck,
-kristin

The symptoms could be from you anticipating going on birth control. The body does some reaaaally weird things sometimes!

That's what i'm counting on...Not that I wouldn't be delighted to become a mommy...But I would rather wait until my boyfriend could share the joy to the same extent as me....And I even thought it could be bc of me ovlating....Yesterday, today, and the next two days are my most fertile...So I was thinking that could be why these last few days have been the worst yet.......

Oh, I know!!!!!!!! I've been so afraid to take it now bc of this....But my doc wanted me to take it bc of the whole endometriosis thing...And I don't want to tell mitch that i'm not taking it bc I suspect a small chance that I am expecting.........Even though deep down I really truely don't....I just don't want to do anything to harm the baby if I really am......Arg, it's so frustrating. Lol bc if I stop taking it, it could give me false signs of pregnancy...And I could not be pregnant to begin with....Which I don't think I am, I say again, lol, but if I don't...It could affect the baby if there is one...Hmmmmmmmm. I don't know. Lol
