Okay so like before (a little while ago) I
post about freaking out ebcause when I
tried to sleep on my side like I was told
i'd end up more towards my tummy so I was
worried I was hurting the baby....
Thennnnn you guys told me to sleep on my
side just putting pillows all around me so
stay put and that worked for a little bit
but told me not to sleep on my back well I
found it uncomfy sleeping on my side and
not tummy and now my body just changed to
sleeping on my back! Am I hurting dylan I
just start sleeping on my back without
realizing it and I wake up that way
too.... What do I dooooo?
<3 sad jess

I don't think it is anything you can
control...After sleeping that way for 18
years....It's a hard habit to
break...Dylan will be ok!!!!!

That is sooooooooo cute, and I know how
you feel...Just suspecting that I may be
possibly a tiny bit pregnant (even though,
sadly, I am not I think), I was so scared
to think of doing something that would
hurt him/her! (flu shot), but i'm sure
there are many women who sleep in a
thousand different positions who have very
healthy babies!

Nope you will be fine. After all it is
not possible to control what position you
move into when you are asleep.
Think about when people break a leg or
something, when they sleep their body
kinda self protects and doesn't move that
side much.
Your body will self protect too and sleep
however is comfy, when you aren't safe to
lay on your belly lol you won't be able to
cuz your bump will be in the way.
You know those pillow things you can get
that are like a wedge - pop the shallow
end under your belly and that helps, more
often than not I sleep almost in the
"recovery position" which is kinda half on
side and half on belly.
Remember that you are not
laying "on" the baby, cuz it is inside you
not under you.
Laying on your left side helps increase
blood flow to the uterus and improves
respiration apparently.
But the most important thing is to be
comforatable, when you are comfy and
relaxed so is baby
big hugs jess

Its funny you mention that cause I was in
the same situation last night. I couldnt
get comfortable on my side the only way I
got comfy was half on my tummy but isnt
the sac a protector for the baby cause it
is pretty hard.

Omg last night I didnt sleep at all I got
off here and just layed around for
hours.... Like paul and I have a king
size bed but its like we have our "sides"
and for the life of me I couldnt get
comfy... Well when I rearranged the room
like 2 weeks ago we put his side agianst
the wall right? So I was like heck I have
an idea to force me to sleep on my left
side and stay on my side I will
squiiiiisssshhhh myself (be locked in and
all comfy in a sea of blankets) inbetween
what he has left between himself and the
wall... Bad idea!!! Well it was working
fine and I was ooo comfy and he was so
gone he didnt even know I was there hahah
(seriously he leaves like 7 inches) so
yeah comfy comfy comfy then out of no
where I get this cramp but I realized I
cant move haha so i'm wedged there
cramping not being able to move then to
top it off he had kicked his blanket off
to the right so when he got cold he took
all the blankets off me!!! While sleeping
so now I am squished cold and cramping
finally I just was like what the heck and
gave him one good hard back kick in the
leg.... Sure enough he moved! Hahah then
like slightly woke up and was like what!
Haha he literally thought he rolled over
me or something then was all freaking out
that he hurt me haahh I was like no I put
myself here and i'm never doing it agian (
as there it like 4 ft of jsut empty space
on my side hahah cold and blanketless)
so yes I am just gunna sleep any damn way
I feel like it!
As long as dyllie agrees haha

Haha we have a king size bed too only
every night I have to sleep like right up
next to dusty cause he has to have this
freakin fan blowing straight on us full
blast and I always wake up freezing, he
usually sleeps on his side facing the fan
so I always cuddle up right against his
back on his side of the bed so theres
always like 4 or 5 extra feet of space on
mine and he gets mad and is like get on
your side of the bed and im like no not
unless you turn off that stupid fan. Ha
last night I got up in the middle of the
night to go pee and when I came back I
shut it off while he was sleeping, he
didnt even wake up!

Your baby is protected inside of you by
the fluid and the sac.You will not hurt
him at all by lying in whatever position
is comfortable for you.I know that you
have almost no comfortable position now,so
do what ever is comfortable!Patty

Jessa! I was like that tooo! So scared!
But then my doctor told me its okay to
sleep on ur sides. I asked him if I was
hurting the baby and he said not at all.
Maybe when your around 30something weeks,
you'll be hurting urself, lol. But yeah,
doctors say try to avoid sleeping on ur
back on and on your right side. Your
right side has like cells or something
that your baby squishes and your back too.
So try your hardest to sleep on ur left.
Even if it ends up making your belly
uneven lol cuz mine is now

There is no harm to your baby if u sleep
on ur stumic.. When I was pregnant with
my little man alex sleeping on my stumic
was like a craving.. Its weird I know
that was the only way that I could sleep
was on my belly it didnt hurt alex one bit
except when he was born his right ear was
blue but after 2 days his ear was back to
normal and his hearing is perfict.
