Honey, at this point whatever is comfy, is the best. You won't hurt him. I promise. All though it is best to sleep on your left side cause the baby gets the most oxygen that way. Don't worry he will be fine, it's soo cute that you are worried. You are going to be a good mommy!!!

I don't think there is any risk in fact later on it's one of the only positoins that you will be able to get into haha. The only thing is that later on the bigger the baby gets the more you will feel like you are suffacating when you sleep on your back, cause there is baby everywhere!!! I don't think there is any risk. When I was preggy my doc said to sleep what ever way I was most comfy but to just try to sleep on my left side as much as possible. You will be fine hon I promise he is so well protected inside anyway that unless you are like jumping up and down on your belly you won't hurt him.

The only risk of you sleeping on your back is cutting off air to the baby. When you sleep on your back your stomach weightd presses down on the inferior vena cava (the lower main vein that bring blood to your heart) and doesn't allow as much blood through. Thereford less blood gets to you and the baby. You have to ask your doc how much risk it's causing. This is all I know.
