Drinking.... Posted: 10-23-04 02:25am
Ok I got a question, so I dont know if im
pregnant. I dont think so because I took
a test and it was negative but then again
the doc. Told me 2 wait until next week.
So last night I went 2 a party 2 play
poker. And won some much needed money
lol. But people were drinking and I had
like 2 mikes and thats about it. I know
its bad, but since im this early... Could
it make a difference? I know I probley
shouldnt have but it was much needed
relaxation!
And going from drinking all the time and
going 2 parties and totally stoping...
Its kinda hard since im with all this
stress

Drinking in the first 3 weeks of pregnnacy
is like taking birthcontrol in the first
weeks of pregnancy yes it is bad yes it is
not okay... Butttt its not devasting and
dont have a high risk in potential like
injuries on the baby I got that out of
what to expect when your expecting....
Everyone have it?

Lol I have "what to expect when you're
expecting" too
I made that mistake before I knew I was
pregnant and I didnt know until I was
about 6 weeks, yea it is bad but I drank
pretty much every weekend if not more
until I found out and then stopped when I
found out but my little girl is fine.

Lol! I have that book! I read it up
until the day I went into labour! Now I
have "what to expect in the first 2 years:
week by week" so helpful!!!!
As for drinking.... If u "think" ur
pregnant, u still shouldnt drink just in
case.

Yeah, trust me if you can prevent it you
want to. I had a student that was a
fetal alcohol syndrome kid and he was
sooooo messed up. Not just physically,
but mentally too. It's rare to have this
kinda stuff happen, but you want to
prevent it. He was a lot of work for me!
