I am plannong on having sex for the first
time in a couple of days.Should I have sex
yet because it's day 6 or 7 after my
period.I know that your baod olvulates a
little bit after your period. Is the
chance of getting prgnant bigger around
this time or should I be okay. What is
the probablity of getting pregnant on your
first time? I just want to be safe.
Getting pregnant at a young age is my
worst fear.
Thank you

First off your never okay you have to use
a condom unless your on the pill though
the lining in the uterus is still comming
in you can get pregnat even if its your
first time but do the safe thing and use
a condom to give you a 98% chance of not
getting pregnant

Seven days after your period would be six
or seven days before you ovulate (on a 28
day cycle). Sperm can live in you for
five days...That puts you really close to
ovulation, and if it happens early, you
could be in trouble! My suggestion would
be to use a condom or diaghram of some
sort. Then your chances of pregnancy are
greatly reduced.
And yes, you can get pregnant your first
time.

Pleeze reconsider your decision! Don't
listen to all these people, they've made
their mistakes now they want you to do the
same! Do u really want 2 give it away
just yet? Yes, you could get pregnant,
and you will regret this I promise u! -
first time experiences with the wrong guy-
big mistake!! This is one of the most
serious decisions you'll ever have to make
in your life and the torture later on will
not be worth it, trust me!

Moral issues aside, losing your virginity
is a huge step.It is rarely any fun for
you,the guy comes in 2 minutes and you are
left wondering what all the fuss is
about.Seriously, you need to use a condom
and another form of birth control. You are
young and verrry fertile and you do not
want to become pregnant your first time(it
can happen!!!).Do not count on your
ovulation being in synch with your
periods-too many variables.Besides,you
need to practice safe sex-there are
wayyyyy toooo many diseases out there that
can be worse than an unexpected
pregnancy.Give some serious thought to
having sex, because you will only have one
first time and it would be nice if it were
memorable, not just done to get it over
with.I am talking from personal
experience-i wish I had been a little more
selective in my first partner.I felt left
out-all my friends had already had sex(and
gotten the clap and had abortions).I just
did it and did not even tell this guy I
was a virgin-never saw him
again,either.However,i was always very
careful about birth control(i tried not to
be a total fool). Those were different
times, also. We did niot have the diseases
that are prevelant now.I would not
recommend casual sex for anyone at this
point in time-you can get things that are
not curable!
Anyway-i know that you will do what you
feel is right for you-just be safe!!Patty
