Alright this is a little odd but my
grandmother went in for surgery today to
have a supposed tumor removed from her
lung, but they found nothing. Yet during a
ct scan there was something there. So the
doctors explained that it must have been
the diaphragm overlapping and casting a
false shadow. But they didn't ellaborate
on this subject and I have been searching
high and low and can't figure out any
details on a diaphragm (in the upper chest
cavity) overlapping on itself. Any
information would be great! Thanks
Doctors usually do not elaborate their
mistakes to the patients. Mistakes are
possible even when doctors do their best
to help. I hope that your grandmother
really doesn't have lung cancer and that
easily recovered from the unnecessary
surgical intervention.
