I have a burning sensation on the left side of my chest. Two years ago I underwent a full workup for heart attack including an angio but my heart is fine. The pains subsided and I have been pain free until last week. I now have the burning sensation just about where my heart is and a lot of pain in the center of my abdomen just below my sternum.Has anyone else experienced pain on the left and been diagnosed with gallstones? My friend says I may be experiencing echo pain????? I go for an ultrasound next month but until then I am not getting much sleep.

Might be gallbladder and refered pain...Might be heartburn or hiatal hernia. Try a low fat, bland diet, eating small amounts every couple of hours. If the pain gets better after two or three days, it could be this.
