I saw a show on nbc last week called the
biggest loser where some contestants lost
20 lbs in one week and I would really like
to do the same.I know 20 lbs in a week
sounds crazy but i'm just dying to lose
it.I'd like to do in a healthy manner not
by starving or anything.

If you are a very overweight person you
can lose two pounds very quickly, and
depending on how large you are 20 in a
week is possible. But, still not a very
good idea. The people on that show
(which I have only seen previews) work out
almost all day long doing things most thin
people don't even do and they only eat
what they are given. It is a lot easier
to be that disciplined when you don't have
a choice.
If you really want to lose weight talk to
your doctor. Cut your calories back to
what your doc recommends and start working
out often. You will lose weight. But,
just remember, the smaller you are the
harder it is to lose weight. The heavier
you are, the easier it is to lose.

20 Lbs In a Week.. Possible! Posted: 09-24-05 10:17am
I'm starting to think 20 lbs. In a week,
is not only possible, but incredibly easy
if you weigh around 200 lbs or more!
Read my blog if you want more info. I'm
not advertising or selling anything, just
posting what i'm doing (no product plugs
or anything like that), and the results as
they come. I also welcome comments,
suggestions, all that.

Meal replacement shakes are shakes that
taste almost as good as a real milk shake
(they are tasty enough that you will look
forward to drinking them) and that
primarily contain protein and have a
balance of vitamins and nutrients. The
shakes mix up nice and thick so they are
very filling and do not leave you hungry
like a rice cake would. So the short
answer to your question is that meal
replacement shakes are tasty, filling
shakes that have all the vitamins and
nutrients of a meal but only have 180-250
calories.

20 Pound In One Week???? Posted: 12-10-05 14:22pm
I honestly don't see how a person could
lose 20 pounds in one week!!! That can
not be healthy, people! Have you ever
heard "the faster you lose, the faster
you'll gain it back"? Reducing calories
is your best bet, along with some major
intense cardio or aerobics. That will
blast the fat fast!!! If you reduce
calories to around 1000/day, you will lose
pretty fast. I know drs don't recommend
you eat less than 1200/day, but trust me,
I cut to 1000/day and lost 8 pounds in 17
days (and i'm a thin person). So, if you
are overweight or obese & you're
eating 1000 calories/day you will lose
fast, fast, fast!!! Try it!
