My period is late and its never late.
I've taken 4 tests and they have all been
negative, but not since I have missed my
period. Should I tell my ex that I might
be pregnant yet, or should I wait and see
what the test says? He's gonna be moving
and what if I find out late and he's
gone--moved to omaha...That would suck.My
mom asked me tonight if I was pregnant, out
of nowhere,i said no. Im suprised she
didnt say it in a mean way, she was
smiling. She probably thinks that I am
and I know she wouldnt be too mad with the
boyfriend I have right now, hes a cop and
we've known him for about 3 years. He
wouldnt even be the dad tho....Ooooh
man...Things will be hard if im pregnant
im
gonna go in to birthright and just take a
test there..See what they think...Ive neve
missed my period and had backaches, sick
feelings to my stomach, and...Im
worried....Kinda freakin out a bit.....

I think you should tell him. And also go
get a blood test taken. If your mom asked
your if your pregnant, she most probley
knows whats up. Be honest with her maybe
then you can get the support you need to
find out whats going on and help you
through everything. Good luck hun!

Hello bubble-
how do you think your ex would feel
about it? If I were you I would wait
until you know for sure! Or else you are
going to cause a lot problems between your
ex and current boyfriend. Anyways, just
because you have symptoms doesnt mean that
you are pregnant. You need to
relax...This could be making your period
late because you are freaking out about
it. There is always a first time for
being late...And stress is the number one
cause of being late...And pregnancy is the
second. Consult your doctor...Good luck

I have nooo idea how I would tell him. He
is really sick and he has this
disease...Chronix disease and now weighs
105 and it really worries me. Thats the
reason we broke up in the first place, he
doesnt want me going through that and I
told him I would be there for him but he
thinks I need to be with someone that can
be with me and go out and have fun. He
does go out and party but when he gets
sick, hes sick for about a month and he
cant eat without throwing it back up or it
just goes right through....Thats why he
wants to move to omaha, the best doc for
his disease is there....So id feel really
bad telling him im pregnant and him having
to stay here. What would u do if u
were in my situation???

I think he needs to know of the
possibility. I agree that you should go
to your doctor and let your mom know,
these will be supports for you.
For your ex, you could just say to him
something like "i don't want to alarm you,
but i've missed a period and i'm
concerned." tell him that he doesn't have
to stay, that you want the best for him,
ask him for a phone number and address.
Tell him you'll keep in touch. Be honest!
Tell him that you've thought long and
hard about telling him. Tell him that you
don't want this to be a burden on him,
that you only thought he should know. Let
it go from there, and don't worry too much
about it.
If you'd rather not go that route, get a
test real quick before you tell him. The
test takes 5 minutes. Even if you go in
to your doctor, unless they do a blood
test, the results will come very quick.
The plus to going to the doctor is that
he/she can tell you the margin of error.
Provided you give accurate dates, they can
tell you right away whether this is a
false reading if it comes back negative
(positive results are almost never
wrong).
That way if it comes back negative, you
don't have to tell him a thing. It's your
call, hope all goes well.

Today I was taken a pregnancy test because
my friend told me she got her period today
and I always have my period b4 her and its
always over b4 she even gets hers. My
period has always been on time. So I
took a test and its negative again.I dont
know whats wrong. I have headaches and
backpains and I feel sick to my stomach at
night and ne more I can barely go out and
have fun with my friends ne more cuz I get
so tired and dont feel good. They said
its just not me. Its weird. The lady
at birth right told me that I need to go
to doctor cuz she thinks I am pregnant and
the tests are wrong. My mom accidently
walked in on me today in the bathroom when
I was taking the test.I felt so stupid.
She asked me if it was positive or
negative and she didnt seem mad. I was
suprised. She told me she was gonna
take me to the doctor next week so then I
should find out. Can ne one keep
getting negatives when they are really
pregnant????? And no I havent told my
ex yet. I dont know what to say or how
he will react and if it will change things
with me and him. I will feel soooo
stupid if im not...But I dont get why I
havent had my period! This never
happens! Its always on time. And why have
I been having back pains and
headaches......After unprotected
sex........Ooomg..I really think I am
but the tests say negative. I even had
cramping along with a little bit of
spotting for about 3 days...Really
weird......I dont know what to do...This

Pregnancy tests work by looking for a
specific hormone that generally only
occurs in pregnancy. That's why it's more
likely for a negative test to be wrong
than a positive, it can't read the hormone
that isn't there, and if it is there you
are most definately pregnant.
Sometimes your body won't create a lot of
this hormone for one reason or another and
the test can't detect it. Since you're
still concerned about the possibility, and
mom knows...
Get a blood test from the doctor. Those
ones will show for sure.
