Hey,

with my first pregnancy I spotted a couple days before my period was due and for about 5 weeks after that as well. It was accompanied with cramps. This pregnancy I had no spotting or cramps. So you don't always have spotting but its not uncommon to have it.

I am 8 weeks and I spotted about 3 days after my period was due. I had no cramps so I guess it all depends on the person.

My was more than just spots but it wasn't like gushing or anything if you know what I mean. It just depends on your body.

Hi new mom's to be

i'm also in the same situation as you lot... Pregnant for the first time and having thousands of questions. I've spotted too a bit and after severe cramping saw my doc. Now i'm at home having to take it easy and lie down a lot. For me every time I spot a little i'm so scared that i'll lose my little shrimp so I prefer to call my doc. Every time and so I also passed an emergency echo to confim alls still fine. I must say it was wonderful to see him/her on the monitor and hear his/her heartbeat....I really feel much less worried now.

Best of luck to you all

I need advice, im on birth control but I skip days often then take 2 the next day, my last period was heavy for a 1/2 of day I usually have my period for 1 1/2 days and then maybe start up again a day later, this time it was only the 1/2 a day, then 2 weeks later I started spotting for a day, then stopped and 2 days later I started up again, then stopped and 3 days later now im spotting again. About a week ago I was sick, or I thought I was sick, I was throwing up and getting hot/cold and dizzy. Please let me know if it sounds like im pregnant.

I have been pregnant 10 times, never had the implantation bleeding. I did with one pregnancy have a full blown severe cramping period, and carried for 3 1/2 more months then miscarried him. Had nothing to do with the bleeding though. No, dont have to spot or have implantation bleeding, but it usually happens right before missed period. So some women think its just a lite period.

Bleeding In Pregnancy
Posted: 11-09-05 12:55pm

On oct. 25th, I found out I am pregnant with my second child. I have had light spotting ever since. It actually started a week before I found out I am pregnant. I had two blood tests to check my hcg levels, and they were rising, but pregnancy poles were not yet detected at an ultrasound I recently had. The tech said this is normal, being that I am only 5 weeks pregnant. Has anyone had this problem before? I am so afraid of losing my baby, because I don't know why I have been spotting for such a long time.

Sharp Stomach Pain
Posted: 02-11-07 20:54pm

I recently took a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant. However, weeks before I was having sharp pain in my right lower side of my stomach. Whenever I sneeze or cough the pain is very intense for a couple minutes then goes away. I think I might be 3 to 4 weeks pregnant. I've had nasuea and fatigue and a couple headaches but that's about it. I haven't had any spotting either. I don't really know what to make of this any comments?
