Hey girls. Well, if it isn't enough that
I am in school and working all of the
time, have no money and am just exhausted,
my freakin car broke. I think I need a
new transmission and I can't afford this!
My car is a 2000 and I will be lucky to
find one in a junk yard, cause god knows I
can't afford a new one. Even if I find a
used one I have to pay someone to put it
in and that is most of the cost, labor.
Geez. I am so frustrated right now.

It is a saturn. It has 93,0000 (i drive
a lot) but that is still ridiculous to me.
My topaz (and it was a piece of crap!)
had 198,000 before the transmission went
in it.
I cannot buy a new car because I am still
paying on this one for three more years!
I am screwed!
Awe! It sucks. I'm sorry. My car is a
piece of crap to. I like it, I really do.
But it doesn't run worth caca! Ah well.
Such is life!

replace the transmission in our 98 accord
a year and a half ago, about 3 months
after we purchased it from a dealership!!
It cost us 2 grand. I'm sorry girl!
You'll figure something out!

Warranty way gone. What makes me really
mad is right after I bought my car I
noticed the transmission was "funky" it
was still under warranty so I took it in.
Of course, they said there was nothing
wrong with it, but it was on record that I
brought it in so if it went then it would
be covered. But not 60,000 miles later!
I know that is high mileage, but I am
saying that a transmission should not go
that darn soon.
I don't have 2 grand! Boohoo! Plus, I
still have to pay on it! Grrrrr.

Some transmissions depeding on the problem
can be rebuilt for a few hundred I
believe.. If not then you could maybe
find one at a junkyard. Not too sure
they'll have it but it can't hurt to look.
What exactly is the problem with the
transmission?
