Possible Pregnancy Again
Posted: 10-28-04 16:02pm

Hi. I think I might be pregnant but I dont know. I was on the birth control shot for about a year. I recently anout a month or two ago switched to the pill. I haven't been taken them at the right time but I have been taking them. Last year I was on the shot for 9 months and then switched to the pill. I had the same problem with taking the pill and I ended up pregnant. I didn't know because I didn't have any symptoms except for a missed period. My last period was september 23. I had sex the 8th of october. I started spotting but only for two days. It was kind of brownish and light pink. I took a test but was negative. Maybe I tested to early. Anyway my doctor told me to wait until my period was due. Well my period hasn't come yet. I been feeling nausea and my stomache feels funny. Also lately my lower back has had alittle pain off and on. I have lost my appetite for things that I alwasys ate. I took a blood test yesterday and are waiting for the results. I have been trying to eat rigth just in case... Could I be pregnant and has anyone had this problem before and was pregnant??? Im 19

I'm not sure but it sounds like something to be concerned about.. Just curious.. Why did you get off the shot and go to the pill? You really should take it regulary for it to be most effective.

I been oof the shot for about three months now so its going the same way. Im not scared of being pregnant I just want to know so I can get started.

My first pregnancy I was taking the pills but missing them as well. So when I remembered I would take them but I was always a day behind. My period hasn't come the whole month of october. The first pregnancy I missed a couple but I always had a period whether it was a couple of days late. I haven't had one. And I usually know when my period is coming because I get cramps the day before. Two weeks ago I started spotting. And I never spotted whether I missed the pill. I have taken the pill many times. Anyway my stomache has been feeling funny not like cramping. I also at times feel a heavy sensation in the lower abdomen. Also a day ago my lower back began to hurt. It felt funny. I been feeling like I had to vomit for about two weeks. I took a urine test at the hospital about a week ago and it was negative. But I really believe that im pregnant.

It may be something else, consult your doctor. And ask for a blood test to make sure. Good luck!
