How to Tell Family
Posted: 10-28-04 17:22pm

I know this is rediculous... I am 23, married and just found out I am pregnant with my third child. My husband and I both have jobs, and we arent rich but we are both ok with it. But I have concerns about telling my sister, because she is in her thirties and she has one child but has always treated me like I have made mistakes having children so young, she perhaps thinks that I am not mature enough to have children, but that is not true, I have dedicated my whole life to my children. And she acts like she is so much better then me, though I am not sure why. Should I be afraid to live my own life, should I care what she thinks when she isnt that much in my life anyway, I only see her on holidays... This is so silly....

You're your own person you get to run your own life... Dont be scared of her.... As long as your babies are happy healthy and safe she should have nothing to say! How old were you when you had your first baby

I was 19 when I had my first, and I graduated highschool when I was 17. I think we are doing just fine as parents

I agree with jess, as long as your children are well taken care of who cares how old you are????? Your family should not say a word and they have no right to judge you. Not everyone follows the same path! Good luck with it all!!!

You shouldn't care what your sister thinks, like they said, you are your own person!

Yup, I would also agree with that. I mean I give you props for taking care of three kids at 23. I couldn't have started so young, but for people that do and do okay with everything I think it's great. Tell her to mind her own buisness if she says anything. She's not your mom and even if she was your an adult now you have you own mind. Apparently your doing a good job so far what's one more at this point! Laughing

I agree with all the other girls, be proud of yourself and your kids and dont worry what anyone else thinks, even if that someone is your sister
