in pain for the past two years Posted: 10-28-04 17:33pm
For the past two years I have been in
pain. At the beginning it was thought to
be specificly my hip. Now after 13
different naval doctors including
orthopedics, physical therapy,
chiropracters, pain clinics, and just my
regular old docs I have come to the
conclusion I may never know why exactly I
am in pain. Ok a little history it starts
in my lower back and with anything
strenous it will move down my right leg to
my knee and foot (which will go numb and
tingle) and also up my back to my neck
shoulder and down my right arm. There are
times I have lost all strenght on that
side and have fallen over. I am a us
marine and I am so frustrated with
educated guesses by doctors who just don't
care. I just need some help we have ruled
out everything from trhocantric birsitus
to spondlylthesis my bones look great and
now the docs are concentrating on
myofascial syndrome. Ok so what I am
asking is does anyone one have any
suggestions? Or am I going to have to be
in perfect physical condition for the rest
of my life to just feel normal. I am a
22yr old female 5'3 and 110 I work out
three to five times a week already (i am a
marine) why then do I feel like I have a
80 year olds body? I have no evidence as
to anything that can pin point why I am in
pain. Is it all in my head I highly doubt
it. Please help
