One of the methods is called a d&c they remove the baby that way. There are other ways but that is most common at 24 weeks.

A d&c and short recovery time...Then sent home (most likely the same day).

Good luck and best wishes,

I lost my baby at 24 weeks and they enduced labor. I was in the hospital for 2 days. My doctor advised me that this was the best method because it is more natural for the cervix to slowly dialate and to naturally pass the fetus. It is the more emotionally challenging way, but better for your body.

Could you please tell me where can I find a place that can perform an abortion during 24 months of pregnancy?

I have never heard of docotrs performing abortions after 12 (occasionally 16) weeks. It becomes too dangerous. Your best option is now to have the child adopted.
Not meaning to sound nasty but why have you waited so long before thinking about this?

You are already far along and not alot of states do that partial birth abortion but I think the cut off date for that is like 24 weeks. If you waited too long just put it up for adoption.

The only reasons that an abortion would be performed at 24 weeks would normally be that the mother's life is in danger or more usually because of severe abnormality in the fetus.

excuse me for saying so, but I must point out your nauseating degree of rudeness and inconsideration. A woman is asking for advice, presumably because she or someone she is close to has just lost a baby, and you come onto the same thread and ask how to kill one the same age? Please take your question to another thread where it belongs and be more considerate of people's losses!

First of all if you were 24 months pregnant you would definately be in the guiness book.
Secondly, I am pretty sure they will not perform this procedure unless you or the baby are going to die in delivery.
Thirdly, there is an abortion forum on ehealth and your question would be better off there.
Fourthly, if you did not want this baby you should have used birth control/of the morning after pill or had an abortion in the very beginning. Preferably the first one, birth control it comes in all shapes and sizes. Aborting your baby now would be like cutting a newborn up into little pieces. Sorry that is graphic and maybe tmi, but that is exactly what you would be doing. I am prochoice, but that is just ridiculous.
