Hey guys I was just curious what everyone
else thought. Well hears the story, my
boyfriend has not been wanting to be
around me. So, I decided to see if he
wanted to go out with kurt, so I called
kurts fiance up and asked if she needed
him home for any reason and if she cared
if he went out with my boyfriend. (kurt
and his fiance have a baby together, so I
wanted to make sure she didnt need him
home, thats why I asked her first) then I
left my boyfriend a message telling him
that if he wanted to he could go out, and
that it was ok with sarah that kurt left.
He called me back and told me I was
being controlling and got pissed. I
only tried to do something nice. I was
wondering what everyone else thought, or
if there was a better way to do this if I
was sounding controlling. Thanks guys
your the best love ya alls

Ouch... That's a toughie. For a girls
perspective, I don't think you were being
controlling... You just wanted to give
your boy some time for r&r. But for a
boys perspective, I can see why he might
think that you're being controlling...
Most guys don't want their girls making
their boys-night-out "dates." honestly, it
just sounds like your guy needs a little
space. I would suggest just backing off
and let him come to you when he's ready.
Sorry, I know i'm not much help, but
that's the best idea I can give you.

Hmm...I dont think you were really being
controlling. Although a guy would
definitely take it that way....What
probably went through his mind was "why
does she have to give me permission, I can
go if I want, when I want"
maybe try talking to him . . . Good
luck!!

I don't think you were being controlling,
I think you were trying to be considerate.
However, calling your boyfriend to tell
him that he can go out with his friend if
he wants to? I can see why he got upset.
Just think, if you were already upset
and your boyfriend called to tell you that
you have his permission to go out with a
friend....Would you be a little more
upset. Don't worry, you weren't being
mean. Guys just think differently than
we do. What we think is nice comes off
as us being controlling to them.
