Hey everyone- has anyone ever had dark dark brown spotting when their period came? I have had like light brown and reddish brown...But never this dark dark brown icky stuff. Do you know what it oculd be...Or do you think its the start of my period? -kristin

Kristin I had that last month and it was just my period!

Thanks amanda! I never experienced that before, I though I had some type of icky infection! Does it ever turn to red amanda/ -kristin

Ive gotten that at the beginning and the ending of my period, I thought the dark stuff meant it was old?

Ive never had this dark dark brown almost black spotting in my life. Only lighter brown stuff and it turned to right like in an hour. -kristin

Yeah that's normal I used to get that every once in a while. I think its just old blood before the new stuff comes out.

Depends, sometimes just a day, and sometimes my whole period was like that for 5 days straight.

Thanks erin, I feel like a 13 year old getting her first period asking these questions, I just never experienced bleeding like this before. -kristin
