New Worry Wart On the Block

Embarassed

i'm new to this forum as I have just found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant. My boyfriend and I are ecstatic. The thing is I am 25 years old and have had 2 prior miscarriages-one at the age of 16 and one at 19. I am extremelly worried that this will happen again. I have an rh neg(-) factor in my blood and my boyfriend does not know his blood type. When is it good to go and get that shot? And all the "books" say to make my first visit at 8 weeks but should I go earler? Also is it normal to have a little bit of cramping around the time I would be having my period? Sorry if you guys have gone over these topics already but.. I am too busy at work to sift through all the topics. Thanx

Worry Wart

Don't feel about about being a worry wart I am 23 weeks pregnant and still worry like there is no tomorrow. The baby has finally started kicking and stuff so that reassures me. But I think you should go to the doctor as soon as you get a postive pregnancy test. Just to make sure. I was almost 3 months when I found out. Maybe that's why I freak so bad. What if I did something bad before finding out.
I am so new to this foruma. So I will tell a little about myself. My name is becki shade I am from louisiana, missouri (louisiana is the town) I am 20 years old will be 21 on nov 27th my boyfriend is shane allred and he's 25 years old. We've been together for two years and started thinking we couldn't have kids. And then one day my period was late didn't think anything about it since i'm hardly ever normal and then I strated getting dizzy and I thought something was wrong. My mom said my grandma had a dream I was pregant so I was like i'm going to the doctor and i'm not pregnant then I need to find out what is wrong with me. I was so weak and tired, boobs hurt so badly I would cry, late period, and dizziness thought were my only symptoms. Then I found out I am pregnant. Pretty exciting stuff. I am 23 weeks now pregnant with a little boy who we plan on naming nicholas shane allred after my uncle and the daddy!! Haha! Thanks for reading all of this. Write some responses. Thanks

Hi girls and welcome to the forum. I am 22 years old and will be 28 weeks on tuesday. I'm having a girl.

I know how it is to worry about your baby, i'm sure you will do the right thing and don't be worried about seeing a doctor I think I would if I were you and having had two miscarriages in the past (sorry to hear) it's understanding to how you feel. There's always worries and concern and don't be ashame of asking questions the girls are very good here I never had a problem with them.

Congrats and good luck :d

Thanks for the the info. It's cool to find a place where there are other young-ish women starting families. I find in the states it's more common than up here in canada-people tend to wait intill they reach their 30's and look down on the younger ones. I have a great career, lots of support a super thrilled boyfriend (i don;t want to get married) I look a lot younger than my age so I know i'll get the looks up here but.... Poop on them!!!!!!! Lol I have my appt with my doctor on tuesday and I have to go for a neuchal ultrasound also ( they say at 12 weeks) I feel a lot better this time around (might help that i'm older than last time and not partying as much Smile ) anyway-i'm gonna come back to this forum and let ya'll know. To becki- congrats! Actually to all of the happy lil women congrats and good luck!!!!!
