Im having the same problem right now. I have pelvic and lower abdominal pain and pressure, and one time when I wiped today some blood came out. My gyno took a urine test and she said it looked good but she's sending out for a culture. Im getting a cat scan done on my abdomin and pelvic next week for all these problems, so hopefully something shows up.

Does it feel like you have a period? Mine does, only im not due for 2 weeks.

Mimee,
did you ever find out what the problem was? I have had 3 utis in the past year and a half. Last week I started feeling like I had one so I went to the infirmary. There was absolutely no sign of infection, but there was slight amount of blood (not even enough to see). I went in for a follow up yesterday and the doc said not to worry because there is no infection at all. But i'm still feeling constant pressure like I need to pee! Please help! I hope you come back and see this....

Interstitial cystitis feels like a uti that never goes away. Antibiotics won't help because there isn't infection. To learn more about it, visit my ic webpage at:

Maybe it's ureaplasma urealyticum? I went to doctors for almost two years. They kept saying you don't have a bladder infection but I knew something was wrong. Finally I was diagnosed with ureaplasma. I've been on antibiotics for 6 weeks now but am not getting better.

It could be ic but I think it's more likely to be ureaplasma urealyticum, in my opinion. I think ic is fairly rare...No?
