Questions Concerning a Miscarriage Posted: 10-31-04 23:42pm
Hello everyone
i had a miscarriage and d&c october 7
when I was 8 weeks preg. They told me the
d&c was to make sure all leftover
tissue from the pregnancy was removed. I
got what I thought was my period a few
days ago, but it was only pink and brown
spotting. I was thinkin it could be
implantation since my periods are usually
heavy and lasts for 7 days (i have been
sexually active with my hubby quite a few
times following the miscarriage). Have
any of you experienced somethin like this
and be preg? Or do you have any comments
as to what you think it could mean?

First off sorry for your loss, also didn't
your doc tell you not to have sex for 3-4
weeks after your d&c? It's very
dangerous! I had 2 miscarriages -one in
1996, and one in 2000. I was 16 & 20
when they happened. Yes it is possible
you are pregnant but you should go find
out for sure because it is dangerous since
you had sex so soon after your d&c,
and you could just misccary again.
I am about 2 months preg now and am so
paranoid about losing this baby. Good
luck!

he gave me the ok to resume normal
activities.....Im jus worried if it is
pregnany how would I find out. Would it
be too early to show up on an hpt?

I would go get a blood test if I were you.
It's the most accurate and that way you
can take early precautions.
