These are all names that were popular around the 30's. And I think its a nice idea to give your daughter your middle name =0)

adeline katrina
camille, callie, charlotte, clara, cordelia
eva, evelyn faye, gretchen, hannah, isabelle
josie katrina, kate, laura, leah katrina
lydia, mae, marian, mazie. Natalie
norah, olivia, odessa, penelope, rebecca
rhae, rita, rosalie, sadie, sarah, sophie
stella, sylvia, teresa, valerie, veronica, victoria, violet

i think a lot of those are uncommon enough to be interesting nowadays, yet still classy and old fashioned. Yay =0)

If you want to be old fashioned but different...Try evah! That's my mother's name and no one else has it spelled that way...Ever! But it is also an old-fashionded name as well!

I do love olivia, as that is what we named our daughter who is now two. I get a lot of compliments on it. But if I were you, i'd go for evelyn (or evalyn, however you want to spell it). I just love that name! I hope dh will go for that if we ever have another girl. I think evie (evy) is so cute for a nickname. I also like victoria (no vicki--sorry that's my personal preference), you can call her tori or toria for short. I also like ashlyn and vanessa. And lydia for some other old-fashioned nmes. Oh yeah and for a lovely version of emily (which I love), how about emmally. I know a lady that is about 60 yrs. Old and that is how she spells her name but it's pronounced the same as emily. I also know a 4 yr. Old girl who's name is emmalee but they call her emma. Way cute. I love ellie too. :) good luck.

How about eleni (pronounced el-ay-nee). I love that one. Then you could call her el or ellie.
