Burning Belly...
Posted: 11-01-04 00:19am

The skin on my stomach is once again having an allergic reaction which is making it tender but other then that I feel a burning because the skin is stretched past stretch marks to the point where its almost sep[erating...Is there anything I can do or use to ease this pain?

Hmmm - I dont have any stretch marks. So I dunno...

All I can think of is maybe neosporin or lotion or something to keep them moist.

I dont think stretchmarks hurt, unless they were hurting for me when I was sleeping and I didn't feel anything, but everytime my boyfriend see's my preggo pics, he's like "ouch!" lol. It looks painful though Wink but I dont think they are.

How can I get relief from the itching?
Avoid hot showers and baths, which can dry out your skin further. Use mild soaps and be sure to rinse it off well and towel off lightly. Then slather on the moisturizer, preferably a non-scented one, since some scents can cause irritation. Try an occasional warm oatmeal bath (you can buy pre-mixed oatmeal bath preparations in drug stores). Wear loose cotton clothing and avoid going out in the heat of the day, since heat can intensify the itching.
