Me and hubby have been trying to get
pregnant for about a year now, with no
success, actually it's nov. Now, so I
guess it's actually been a year.
Anyway, i've gone to see my doc and found
out that unlike the avg. (whatever that
is ),
my cycle last approx. 40 days
here are my figures:
5/25- 7/3 = 39 days
7/3 - 8/14 = 42 days
8/14 - 9/22 = 39 days
9/22 - still waiting
i took an average, and came out with 40
days, so with that calculation I should
have started my period today, nov. 1.
Or if I follow the pattern, 39,42,39, 42 I
should start my period nov. 3.
I don't want to get my hopes up, so I
haven't tested yet. I have all my usual
symptoms of pre-menstrual, but the only
thing i've noticed really different is the
tenderness of my breast.
I normally get tender breast, achy back,
moody, cramps, a fever sometimes, but as
i'm sitting here typing to you ladies, my
breast feel like I have a pair of weights
pulling down on them. They feel
extremely heavy and sore, more so than
usual. I have no nausea, no vomitting,
no heartburn, no "typical" pregnancy
signs.
I really don't know why i'm posting this,
maybe I justed needed to share with
someone. It's been a very fustrating
year for me and my husband so we are
hoping for the best here.
Oh yes, one thing I can ask you ladies, is
if anyone one of you in here is also on a
40 day cycle, if so, do you know how many
days from our first day of bleeding we
ovulate.
I bought a ovulation kit this month, and
for a 40 day cycle we should ovulate on
the 23rd. Day, so we count from our
first day of bleeding and on until you
count 23 days. For me, that would have
been on october 14, so that's the day I
started testing and the first test came
out positive for ovulation but the
following 6days, were all negative.
When I tested positive for ovulation, me
and hubby did have intercourse that same
instance, but if I only ovulated for one
day, my chance are almost slim to none.
Like I was telling you guys, very
fustrating.
Wow, you ladies don't know how much I want
to just go right this instance to bathroom
and take a pregnancy test. The
anticipation is so overwhelming, and I
guess that's why i'm still typing. I apologize.
Anyway, thank you for being here for me
and if you guys have any suggestions
please feel free to answer my post.

i'm going to tell you a little something
about my experience and maybe it can help
you. I'm 33 and have had one child
before during my 1st marriage. I'm
married again and have tried to get
pregnant for about 3 years. Given we
would try but I guess not as hard. We
didn't take tempatures and bought
ovulations test but we did try off and on.
We finally got serious and seeking a
specialist. But now i"m pregnant.
Phew!! Did not have to pay the big bucks
for a specialist. Hehehe. I was
suppose to get my period on the 21 of
october, mind you my period never comes
when its suppose to, but my breast were
more tender than usual. I would
literally hurt when I took my bra off and
could not stand not having one on because
my breast felt too heavy and tender. I
went to cvs and bought this ept test that
gives you results 4 days before your due
date. Well.... The test came back
positive. I was like you did not want to
get my hopes up. Trust me I did get them
up there quite a few times just to be
dissapointed but just give a day or so i'm
sure you want to know. I was suprised of
my results. I'm going on 6 weeks now.

I finally took like 3 pregnancy test, and
they all came back positive. I was still
not convinced.. Lol.. So I made an
appointment with my doctor and she took
some blood, and the test came back
positive.
I am sooo freakin' happy!!! Thank you
