Hi, I recently sprained/fractured/broke
(not sure which) my hand (or maybe just my
knuckle?) it swelled up and was pretty
sensitive but wasn't too bad so I didn't
go see a doctor. Now that the swelling
has gone down I can see that it healed
wrong. The bone above my pinkie finger
bends upwards, it looks pretty weird. I
was wondering what could be done about
this? Can a doctor re-break the bone and
put it in a splint? Any info/similar
experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Your best bet would be to see an
orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand
surgery. It is possible to rebreak the bone
and reset it-but you should see a
specialist to get all the correct
information.Good luck!Patty

Yeah i'm wondering the same thing.
Haven't had time to go see my doctor about
it yet. Does anybody know how doctors go
about re-breaking bones?
