My drs office just called, they saw
multiple problems on my ultrasound. I
have to go in today at 2 to talk to them,
then to see a specialist tomorrow for a
level 2 ultrasound. I'm soooooo upset, I
feel like my world is crashing down.
Please keeps us in your prayers

Did they tell you what the problems were?
I know this sounds like bad news, but
remember not to get yourself down until
you have all the information. There was
a girl on here a couple of months ago that
her doc told her she had amniotic band
syndrome, which carries a 100% fatality
rate for the baby. After days of
worrying about it before they could do
conclusive tests, they found out she
didn't have it after all.
Either way, we'll be here for you!!

faith your baby will be fine and that
hopefully they made a mistake. God bless
you and your baby.

A level 2 ultrasound is typically what is
used in a tertiary care center, as
compared to the standard ultrasound
equipment that is found in many
obstetrician's offices. Often, people
have a detailed scan of the baby's organ
systems in the mid-trimester as part of
routine care. A level 2 ultrasound would
be better called a "targeted" scan. It
also should be noted that the difference
is not made so much by the equipment, as
by the operator.
