I am a bit confused so any help would be
appreciated!!
My husband and I tried to conceive a
couple weeks ago. I know that I was near
ovulating so it was very likely to get
pregnant at that time.
I have been anxoius to know but I haven't
missed a period yet. I am supposed to
start my period in 2 days. I have normal
pms cramps and breast tenderness.
I took some hpt(s) in the past two days
and this is what has happend.
Two days ago I had two positives. The
next day I had 3 positives but the lines
were very faint progressivly with each
test. Last night I had a negative and
this morning I had a negative. I am very,
very confused. I thought that I was
pregnant because I was feeling light
headed and a bit sick to my stomach. I
don't know how you can have so many
positives and then two negatives in a row?
So if anyone has any insight, please let
me know.
Thanks.

I would suggest taking a blood test
because I am late for my period too and I
have all the signs...Headaches, tiredness,
cramping, breast tenderness, etc., and I
took a hpt and it came back negative.
Definitely either get a blood test done or
just go to a doctor. If you got even
just one positive test you are more than
likely pregnant because there arent false
positive tests. They detect the hormone
only present when you are pregnant.

Thanks.
I was going to go next week after I missed
my period. I talked to a nurse yesterday
and that is what she said to do but that
was before I had a negative test.
I am very nervous.

Well I have had that happen before too.
Here is the deal in most cases;
hpt's are so sensitive now days that they
can detect hcg levels when they are very
low some even around 20. So a lot of time
women will test even before their period
is due and detect the hormone and yes you
are pregnant in a sense but sometimes it's
either only a chemical pregnancy or the
egg never completely implants etc. Most
women if they do not test never know that
they were pregnant and they will go on to
have their period and it will just be a
little heavier than normal with maybe more
severe symptoms than you would have
normally.
However there could be a # of other
factors...
Did you test the saem time each day?
Morning urine is best.
Are you on amy medication that could
interfear with the test???
Well good luck and I hope it all works out
the way you want. Keep us posted!!!! :d

Well, did you end up being pregnant? Or
was it a chemical pregnancy for you?
I don't take any meds. The only thing
that I have taken is progesterone pills
that my doc gave me.
Can exercise have anything to do with
this? I have been exercising on my
elliptical machine. But I have been doing
that for months so I thought it really
wouldn't hurt if it was something that
your body was used to.
Thanks for all replies.

It was just a chemical pregnancy,
unfortuantly. No I don't think exercise
would have anything to do with it. I
would suggest going to the doc and get
that blood test!!! Good luck hun!!!
