I'm soo sorry. I'm lighting a candle for you and oliver. I can't imagine what you must be going through right now. I wish there was something I could do. If there is, just let me know. I'm here for ya.

Kia, he is beautiful. Tiny, yet perfect in everyway.

That's such a beautiful poem, kristin.

You two are strong beautiful women, and I have so much respect for you, with you going through this. I dont know if I would be able to handle this. Im sorry you have to go through this loss, but just keep in mind oliver reece is in heaven now waiting for you.

Erin, biggest thanks in the world.

For all the ladies not knowing, I was 18 1/2 weeks, my uterus ruptured into my abdominal cavity, and my belly was full of blood and amniotic fluid and baby, I had to have 12 pints of blood transfused, and a hysterectomy.
This was done via an abdominal wound as so much had to be cleaned up.
The consultant photo'd the op and I saw them today - every one thought I was mad and tried to disuade me then was suprised that I took it so well - well nothing is gonna change and how often do you get to see your own insides all opened up?

Sorry to the squeamish but the wound looked like it was a bowl full of chopped/pureed tomatoes, htere was 3 hands inside the wound and still loads of space so I am surprised that I only had a row of staples maybe 6 inches long - but it runs up/down - I think across would have been less painful especially as I am a big girl as well.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo - actually I ran away from hospital (literally) last night I couldn't cope in there anymore and I hit my break down point - steve was nearly at his too and after one day of being home peace and harmony is restored.
Its amazing the healing powers of the cuddles of a loved one and a good nights sleep in your own bed.

You know it's amazing how for me the two things that remind me of our home that we all came from is life and death. Whenever, someone is born I seem to have this feeling that theirs someone else working up there. Same goes for death too. I mean i've always believed in god, but those are the two that really remind me he's there. Kia we love you so take good care of yourself. I know everything will be okay for you cause you are so strong. Wink
