Too Broke For a Pregnancy Test Posted: 11-04-04 16:28pm
Okay, i'm wondering if a pregnancy test is
necessary. I am on the pill, and just had
breakthrough bleeding for a week prior to
my period. I should be on my period now,
but only have very little dark spotting.
Normally I would just get a test, but I am
so broke that it is a real finantial
question now. Any advice? Please? I
have been on the pill for 6 months about.
Thanks!

I'm not sure what to tell you about the
spotting. However I did want to let you
know that you should be able to buy a preg
test at the dollar store for about $1.
Hopefully that is affordable for you!
Good luck

There are also crisis pregnancy centers
that will do it for free. You have to
listen to the speil and watch a video, but
if you really need to know and you're
broke,they are an option.Patty

They actually have dollar store pregnancy
tests? I know that normal pharmacy ones
are pretty pricey (some being $20), but
could you even trust the results of a $1
pregnancy test? I question the exact
accuracy of something of such a low price.
But hey, if it yielded a negative then
that's a good thing, despite the price.
