Rainbow Bridge - My Favourite Poem Adapted

Rainbow bridge
there is a bridge connecting heaven and earth. It is called the rainbow bridge because of its many colours. Just this side of the rainbow bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
Whenever a beloved dies, they go to the rainbow bridge. There is always food and water and warm spring weather so all our special friends can run and play together. All the those who had become ill and old are restored to health and vigour; those who are hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on earth and who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. Then this one suddenly runs from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands caress the beloved head and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your friend, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the rainbow bridge together... Never again to be separated.

When I had my miscarriage I read alot of peoples poetry about it ((since I cant write)) and it made me cry and it still does but it helped me...So I picked a few good poems...Maybe u would like them? When I had it I was only 8 weeks and it was just severe clotting and tisssue I mean they didnt even think that there was a baby just a placenta...And I had a breakdown I was like suicidal I dont think I would be able to be as strong as you .

My angel baby
to the baby that I carried
but never seen your eyes
or tell you how much I loved you
or ever to hear your cries.

You will never be forgotten
the excitement we had for your coming.
When I realized i'd never hold you,
the feeling I had was numbing.
My angel baby is who you are.
My angel baby you'll always be.
Your loving memory will live in my heart
so you will always be right here with me

a part of me

as I sit and remember
when you were still a part of me
i try to forget...
Your life was never meant to be.
You were given a life, a soul, a name
but now things will never be the same.
You were mine to give life to
though only for a while
things had changed...
I will never see your smile.
Yet my love for you
will never disappear
though your voice, your laugh,
i will never get to hear.
You will always be my baby
though i've never seen your face.
Not a thing in this world
can ever take your place.

That poem is absolutly perfect! The only thing is kia and kristen is that your babies are with you. You just can't see them, but they are there. They know everything that is going on in you life and they know what your future holds. That bridge that connects us to heaven is the bridge that helps you to see clear too! Cause until you hit that bridge you can't see them.

I read this poem to paul when I lost my baby (had a miscarriage at 7 weeks)
sweet child
no, I did not touch you, but I felt you
no, I did not see you, but I envisioned you
no, we did not talk, but I heard you
no, I did not know you, but I loved you

you shall not hear the pitter-patter of my tiny feet
nor hear my cries in the middle of the night
you shall not hear me say "momma" or "daddy"
no feel my arms hold you tight

you shall not see my beautiful smile
nor hear my funny little laugh
you shall not watch me grow
or lead me down the right path

but with the comfort of christ
I will be with you again
for I am your sweet child...
...Your little angel in heaven
