Oh I know how you feel, mine leak out of
nowhere and then stop and come back, it
sucks. And I can't wear a breast pad
because I don't wear a bra, and I dont
wear a bra because my ribs are sore.

Have you had your bras fitted properly
recently, because that may aleviate some
of the discomfort of wearing a bra in
late pregnancy...... And dont wear
underwire bras.......

Hi kia,
yup breast pads.. And try not to touch
the nipples cos that will just stimulate
more milk... When I lost my baby and got
very engorged with milk I got antibiotics
from my dr cos I started to get
infections, so that might be worthwhile
just as a preventative thing if u start
getting hot red spots... I also found
that a warm shower and bending over and
smoothing my hand down the sides and top
and up the underneath of each boob
(avoiding the nipple) helped drain some
excess milk out very gently. They
continued to leak for 2 1/2 weeks but
after a week most of the engorgement had
gone down... So only a few days to go and
you'll start feeling much better I bet.
So sorry you've had to go thru all this
kia.. So very sad for you.. So sorry
you're suffering
loren.

Also try cabbage leaves, they help reduce
the milk and cool the breast..... You can
get a medication from your doctor that
will speed up the process..... I am so
sorry for you loss..... I know how you
feel.........

when you begin to
feel the tingly sensation of milk
let-down, apply firm pressure to your
breasts by crossing your arms over your
chest and hugging yourself. You can also
use the base of the palm of your hands to
press over the nipple. If you're sitting
at a table, cup your chin in your hands
and press your forearms into your
breasts.
> use cloth nursing pads instead of
disposables, which have been linked to
breastfeeding problems. Their plastic
lining, while keeping clothing dry, keeps
the areola damp, exacerbating nipple
soreness and fungal infections such as
candida (also known as thrush). You can
make your own nursing pads from cut-up
cloth diapers. If you're breastfeeding at
home, keep a cloth diaper nearby to soak
up milk from the leaking breast and save
your pads for outings.
> wear clothing that camouflages
wetness. Prints work well. Or carry a
jacket or sweater that you can put on
quickly if you notice your breasts
leaking.

Hi kia and jess,
i wasnt talking about squeezing the milk
out! Just using gravity to let it drip
cos it relieves the incredible pressure
and my dr gave me the advice.. She also
told me about smoothing ur hands along ur
boobs to help open up blocked milk ducts
in the spots where infection is starting..
It gets really red and hot.. It really
worked tho to do all that. The pressure
is so bad it feels like ur skin is going
to rip so letting it drip a bit in the
shower really helps take the edge off and
doesnt do much to stimulate more milk.
Hope that clarifies what I meant! Sorry
for any misunderstanding!

Ok I think they stopped now.
In fact they have shrunk back to their old
size, my nipples have shrunk too (they got
big) and my montgomery glands have gone.
My boobs feel allkinda soft and wierd but
like they were before I was pregnant.
Ooooooooh and my belly feels softer again
suddenly too.
