I have been pregnant twice before I have 2
health children. I know how my system
acts when it is pregnant. I am on birth
control pills and I think I am pregnant.
I have never missed a period while on
birth control pills in 15 years. My
period was due october 1st. And it did
not come. I have been having lower
cramping which I do not get even when I
have periods. My finger nails have been
growing strong and hard and fast. I am
having a lot of nausea. In the past I
have not had morning sickness or nausea
but since I am on the pill maybe that is
why I am having nausea I also have some
lower back pain. I have been so spacey I
am usually so on the ball but I feel just
out of sorts and can not remember silly
easy things lately. I am concerned as
the doctors says to keep taking the pill
(mircette28) which I am but what if I am
pregnant? I have taken a blood test on
the 10th results came back and they were
negative. But my symptoms have not gone
away. I know this is not in my head.
Did I take the blood test to early and if
not what is wrong with me. Could it be a
hormone imbalance? Any ideas?
Thanks minda

Since your period was late and you took
the blood test, you arent pregnant. Those
things dont lie. Maybe it is all in your
head. You should keep taking the pill
because you arent pregnant, only stop
taking them when you find out for sure you
are because if you stop on your own, it
messes it up. I think your just feeling a
little under the weather. It could be
your pill, why your nauseated. I know
from the patch I always get nausea. And
the back pain can be from how you are
sitting, if you sit alot and you slouch,
that messes you up too. Good luck and if
your period doesnt come still, try taking
another test.

Thank you for your message. I know I am
not under the weather I am have a great
life and things could not be better except
that I can not get my brain to work with
me, as far as sitting I am a stay at home
mom with a 3 year old and a 5 year old I
never sit, how I wish that sitting wrong
was my problem. To top it off I am never
sick I have a very positive attuitude. I
am thinking maybe my pills are bad and
maybe I am messed up and I should get off
them wait for my cycle to restart itself
than start a new packet. This nausea
stuff is just not me and I can't shake it.
I have no time for it either.

I didnt mean that kinda under the weather,
I meant like a little sickness. Like with
the nausea, im sure you have a great
life!! But maybe its the kinda pill your
on, try asking your doc for a different
kind. I know the patch always makes me
nauseated and I hate it. Well good luck!

Blood Test Posted: 10-26-03 19:00pm
A blood test can be wrong. Mine was. I
took a hpt and it came back positive. But
the blood test came back negative. The
u/s showed that I was indeed pregnant.
The urine test was just more sensitive
than the blood test, for whatever reason.

Am I Pregnant? Posted: 06-20-07 13:46pm
ok I am 28 I have been pragnant once at 17
and lost it at 2 months and then pregnant
at 22 and lost it at 4 months. I never
play it safe my husband and I feel if I
get pregnant I get pregnant, so we never
use any protection. last month my husband
said to me he was getting to old to have a
kid, he is 33. Well I decided to do the
planning thing and I realized I was three
weeks late, I took 4 H.P.T. and all were
negitive. So I had a period finally and it
was on the 19th. Well I counted 14 days
exactly and planned to have sex, so we did
four times on the 2-5. Well 5 days ago I
realized I was feeling sick alot and it
would come and go, someone told me I could
be pregnant, I thought, could this be?
Well I took a test even though it wasn't
the 19th yet. The test showed an instant
faint line, so I got so excited! Anyway I
made my husband pick up a first responce
four day early test and it to had a real
faint positive line. Well I was so happy I
did the wrong thing and told 6 people and
was so happy!
I took a E.P.T the next morning to
confirm, and it was negitive!
I was sooooo confused! Then I bought two
more, one was negitive again and one was a
faint positive. I waited for another day
and took the fith one and it was positive.
Then I decided to call my doctor and get a
blood test. Well I went in yesterday took
the test(Mind you yesterday was the day I
should have started my period, the 19th)
Then bought a dollar store test for early
mornning for this morning. Well the H.P.T.
today was negitive! Then
I got the bad news that my blood test was
negitive as well . I still feel
sick at times durring the day, I feel
bloated, and I just want to know why I had
any positive test if I am not. Does anyone
understand what I am going through? Has
this happened at all?
Whats wrong?
